Need help. The auto updates on logos, caps, & uniforms (still) not working

Ok, this... thing, is still happening. The logos, caps, and uniforms are not updating as the game years progress. For example this is the EXACT naming of the logo files:

boston_colonials_1920-1936_FFFFDE_860C00, & boston_colonials_1937-1948_FFFFDE_860C00

Game year 1937 comes and goes and the logos, caps, & uniforms DO NO CHANGE. I can exit the game and open it again and they do not change. The box on the team settings that prevents facegen updates is not checked. Is that file naming correct? Is there somewhere else I should look? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? This has worked in the past. OOTP 15 this worked perfectly. 16 did not work at all. Now 17 does not work. The only way to make it update is to visit each team setting page and click "auto load" for each logo, cap, & jersey, Every... last... one. It takes forever. Is this a know issue? I cannot be the only one experiencing this.

OK, let me ask it this way. Has anyone else had the problem I described?
