Drafting and sign-ability

It seems like most guys that have high potential all say hard or extremely hard to sign. Is this something I'm doing wrong or is there a way to persuade them to want to come play for my Baltimore Orioles?

Does it make not sense that the most talented players demand the most coin?

And as Baltimore you should be more focused on signing overrated international outfielders anyway!

I've posted about this before, but the problem with impossible players is that their demands often don't make sense. I've had top 5 level talent drop to the 4th round then demand $2m or something that would have been lower than slot anyway. Meanwhile you'll have guys with easy signability demanding 9 million or something and the AI has no problem drafting those guys.

What you could do is edit the person and put them In your Minors.
