I have noticed an incredible speed increase in sim time from the March 18th beta. Well done for whatever was improved.

Every game I seem to be play it is crashing. It is insane. I cant get through a game without a crash and then when I save like say in the 5th just in case and go back in to play and say when it crashes again, when I go to load my game it says I havent started the game yet.

How far into your game are you? I started a game in 1871, simmed all the way to 1952. Once I advance past January 1st and scouting starts, my game crashes.

Not too happy about it, but hey, we were warned.

Playing 2016 season as the Mets. I know a lot of you started historical.

Silly question -

I'm just catching up with installing '17. Do I need to download both patches - or can I skip the first patch and just install the 2nd?

On MS Windows, you uninstall programs in the System control panel -> Programs & Features -> locate the program and click on Remove.

In Steam, you locate the program in the "Library" and right-click on the program then click on "Delete local files".

All files deleted? To be sure that all works right you could restart the computer now (this will log you out of Steam).

You own the Steam version, so when you removed the game from your computer you can just click on "Install" now to install the latest version again.

I didn't have any crashes but the game was running *really* slow. When I checked it was taking over 1gb of ram.

I did EVERYTHING you said to do and I still get this message

I am sooo sorry, I don't mean to waste your time. All I did was bought the game 2 days ago, nothing else

Any other ideas? Can I get a refund for the game and try to buy it from the site?

Sizeman 21, have you tried running Steam as administrator? Just right-click the icon for Steam and select "run as administrator". If that doesn't work, I would uninstall Steam and reinstall it. Sounds like it may be an issue with your Steam app.

This is totally weird. Yes, you can ask Steam for a refund somehow, but I do not know exactly where to find the option.

Steam refunds are only possible up to two hours after the purchase, IIRC.

2 weeks after purchase, subject to less than 2 hours gameplay. From the look of it, he hasn't managed to do any gameplay yet, so should get the automatic refund from Steam.

Sizeman21 can run OOTP 17 now, we fixed the problem via remote session on his computer. It was a problem with the Steam client which did not update. I guess uninstallation and re-installation of the Steam client would have helped. I solved it by running the steam.exe as admin.

This is not under our control, sorry. You would have to discuss this with Steam

For the record, Valve/Steam aren't super-strict about the restrictions on refunds provided you don't have a history of abusing the policy. Shouldn't usually be a problem.

downloaded this. Then lost my league during a save. rebooted. Now the whole league wont load. so I lost several days of playing the game. I guess with this game save every 5 minutes and do a backup every 10. I have to say I'm about done. Since buying this I've lost 20 hours plus of everything. It make no sense to me. This is a brand new computer, so I have all the memory, speed and every excuse resolved.
