Infield Shifts
Is anyone that plays out each game using the expanded infield shift options and seeing it make a difference?
I haven't been using them other than bring the corners or entire infield in. Just wondering if I'm missing out. Thanks! |

I think it does. My catcher left hand hitting Alex Avilia has hit into a few extreme shifts to right field between 1st and 2nd baseman only to be caught and thrown out at 1st by the defensive player playing short right field. I love these little additions

I play out all of my games and in my limited number so far (maybe 30 games) I haven't noticed the AI make any switches either against me or for me ( I let the AI set my defense). The only thing I have seen is corners in or OF in. I am really hoping to see DP depth or the shift while letting the AI set my defense. It is possible that I have missed it as I don't always look at the setting and I normally have the pitch chart up. I wish the fielder positions chart setup as a new and separate widget. Hate having to choose between the two. |

I have been seeing the shift again Carlos Santana in my game, along with some definite DP Depth shifts when that situation presents itself to the AI.
