Position Changes Being Reverted

If anyone else having a problem with position changes being reverted next day?

Ex: Change Aaron Sanchez from RP to SP
Change Jesse Chavez from SP to RP

After I sim one day their positions have been reverted.

I've tried this in the drop-down menu, in the editor, and the full editor in Commissioner Mode. Even if I keep the game in Commissioner Mode the positions change back.

Is there any way to make this stick?

Force start/force role for pitchers. In player game strategy by clicking top right on player page.

It's basically because your manager thinks he knows best, and is controlling and/or has the reputation required to do things without asking you.

There are three main ways to stop it:
1, hire a less reputable manager and take control of the lineups yourself.
2, Go into Game > Game Settings > Tick the bottom checkbox on the left, 'GM-only users are always in control of lineups'. This will ensure that even a high rep manager cannot make lineup changes, they'll only manage the actual games.
3, Do what RichW suggests above - you can also right click on a player and select the Set Game Strategy option, to take you there without going to their profile.

Thanks, both of you.

I understand the "manager knows best" scenario, what surprised me was that he was able to change their designation in their profile. That seems different than just deciding where to slot them in the lineup.

I tried the Game Strategy option but because the manager knows best I'm not even allowed to change that.

I'll try Monkeystyxx' second suggestion and see where that gets me.

You should still be able to change Player Strategy, even if your manager controls overall game strategy.

Only if the op overrides it.
