Regular Season games vs other Leagues?

I noticed in past versions of OOTP that you could play games against other Leagues(edit manually the Leagues schedules) but the visiting teams stats would only appear in the home team's League. Example if someone on the LA Dodgers played a total of 162 games(10 games at Federal League opponents) his player stats would list LA Dodgers NL-152 and LA Dodgers FL-10.

Another thing about playing other Leagues is the W-L Standings for home games and away games wouldn't equal 162 if you played road games in another League. The overall W-L record would be correct, however.

If you played against another League(that was an Association with your League) would the stats still be separated or would they stay as one Leagues stats?
