Adding Leagues
Hello--
At the beginning of the game you are asked what leagues you want a part of the game, and I just wondered if there is a way to go back and add leagues into your league after that screen and you are already in the game. I didn't add anything except MLB from that screen. Loving the game so far and I am off to a great start in the season (23-14 with Cleveland) so I don't want to restart. Thanks! |

You can add leagues after the fact. Go to your League Settings screen.

I am guessing you can only do it after the season? I don't see a way to do it now.

I don't know if you can add a league while a season is in progress. If you are in the off season or before your new league has started play go to the League Settings and click on "Available League Actions". Select "Add Minor/Feeder league". Once that's done go the settings for the newly created league, and select League & Teams to edit the team names and change the level of the league (make it a major league if you so chose). You can edit that league's structure from the Functions screen.

Just to be clear... I believe the later option necessarily uses fictional players, while nowadays when you select the Australian League or whatever at the outset, the game loads up the current rosters and free agents from that league. So, the later option works fine but gives you fictional players instead of "real" ones (no offense to the ratings crew but information for a lot of the indy and international leagues is pretty sketchy...).
