Lots of 3-1 put outs

I'm really enjoying the game so far and I've been playing out a bunch of games. One thing I've noticed is that with the bases empty I rarely see the first baseman get an unassisted putout at first base. Seems like he's always flipping it to the pitcher to finish the play at the bag. I know this seems rather nit-picky, but I was wondering if it's just me or others have seen the same?

Playing out the games out in 3D mode I assume?

It just seems like there are too many because they're poorly animated, the 1B will wait for the P to cover all the way from the mound while standing a foot off the bag.

Yeah. Move along, nothing to see here I believe. Finally got a 3 unassisted in the second game after I posted this.

I was surprised to see that 3U outnumbers 3-1 or at least a 1B throwing to someone covering 1B by 1.66:1.
