Strength Overview / Top prospects
Any idea how these are determined?
Fictional league I have a starting pitcher on my team who is a two-time all-star, was 3rd in voting for RoY, and was most recently 3rd in voting for the Cy Young award. Season is 2 years old. He's also earned PoM in his most recent season. On top of that, he's top 5 in like half the leaderboard categories for hte last year, top 3 for most of those. He's listed as the 30th best starting pitcher (only 30 teams), which means he could be even further down if the game rates other teams secondary pitchers higher. Going through the list of people above him, he's got better ratings than a bunch of them. AND better stats than most of them. Why would he be listed below them? (Only really bothers me because of owner goals). Same for relievers... I have two relievers who have had a fantastic season last year, and pretty good season the year before that, and both have good ratings... I'm down at 28th there too. Very confusing. Any insight appreciated! |

For pitching staffs and bullpens, I believe the ratings are based on your entire rotation or bullpen.

Ok, that'd make more sense as I have a couple duds, but we made the league championship, one game from world series, and my era (starting and bullpen) were 2nd and 3rd in the league lol.
I mean I know that's just one season, but it still seems weird that I'd be last with a pitching staff like that. |
