Yeah, I would hold off until you get a 50% off sale or something. You've got way more important things in your life to take care of right now.

First of all I hope you are not seriously injured from the accident, but if you are awaiting surgery I guess that you may be. Get well soon, and heal fully, I am sorry to hear about this news.

Second, you might want to vote for Sanders in the primaries. Though I am an American, I live in Europe and when we have illnesses or injuries we don't have to worry about money or stress over expenses, since we have already paid our taxes and can just think about health care, and healing.

Third, once America has a public health care system like every other civilized nation, you can spend your money on OOTP without worries !

Get well soon.

I used to do that, too. Then I got married. But you shouldn't call women "things."

So much more speed than 16 that for me it feels like getting a new pc with the pre-order beta...

+ MLB + MLBPA
+ 3D graphics are awesome in making the game even more alive

every year I buy OOTP and then use it about 300 times a year. OOTP costs fractions of a penny per use and for me provides better value then any other thing I spend money on.

Agreed. The OP should focus on his health and return to work and buy OOTP when he can and when he's ready.

I'd say if pretty much every nickel is going towards basic living expenses and medical bills, a new vehicle, etc., waiting isn't the worst thing in the world for now.

That said, if you've got any extra cash just laying around, or you can think of an easy place to trim some expenses for things not absolutely necessary, just go ahead and buy it. You'll need something to do while you're recovering from surgery, right?

I'm sorry if I come across as an ass. You're just trying to help a guy out. I just have a thing against pity parties. Based off the personal nature of the original post, that's what I suspect is going on here. Then again, I don't know the OP so i'll just leave it at that.

I'm pretty much exclusively fantasy at this point and really don't have anything added by MLB improvements, as great as they are for the game's future.

What great feature or features does this version of the game have that I shouldn't be living without even as a fantasy player?
You should probably not spend money on things like this with all that stuff going on. Good luck to you in your recovery!
