Historical Manual Expansion Question

Ok so running a historical, in year 3 (1964) I manually expanded by 4 teams.

1) expansion draft came and past on the date thread, draft never occurred maybe no players available?

2) Most important question after a manual expansion in a historic league, can I now go back and re-turn on auto expansion? Will something bad happen if I do (like my new expansion teams I manually added disappearing in say 1977 ? or will auto league resturcuting not take them into account etc?)

Hey, I'm in 1961 and started in 1960. No problem with the expansion for the Senators and the Angels, and then in 61 for the Colt 45's and the Mets. I took over Houston. And I didn't have any problems with the draft. I made it 20 rounds, although in real life there was no official draft until 1965. Before that, rich teams like the Yankees and the Cardinals just bought players up.
