GM releasing good prospects?
With the latest patch downloaded today, I'm noticing some good prospects getting released by some teams on the first day of Spring Training.
For example, the Dodgers released their top 3 picks in the last draft. One of them was scooped up immediately by the Mets and was then named the 37th best prospect in all of baseball. I have 25 man roster limits for MLB, AAA, AA, A and S A. But I have an unlimited limit for the R league, which is my lowest level. Also wanted to mention that the Dodgers GM favors prospects to veterans, and places high value in the draft and development. These are examples of some of the prospects the Dodgers released. The other teams seemed to have released mostly 1 star prospects which is fine. I know the AI usually gets rid of some players around that time of year in OOTP to trim their organizational roster a bit.
That is fine, but what I'm trying to figure out is why the Dodgers would release good prospects like that? Maybe it's just a one time thing..? |

Seemed fine the next year. Teams released only crappy prospects. Maybe it was a fluke thing?
