Do you still play OOTP16(while playing OOTP17)? - Page 2

Nah. I've never gone back to an older version once a newer one is released. The game always offers new features from one year to the next that I'd feel cheated if I did. With this year's version, I'd miss historical minors and the improved 3D too much to go back.

Yep. I'll play OOTP16 till the final OOTP17 patch is released. Then I'll play OOTP17 till the final OOTP18 patch is released and so on.

So you dont have any leagues that you have played over the course of all the OOTP versions you have owned?

Yes, I do, because I have a league I'm documenting in 16 that, without the zoom settings I have in that game, I can't get all the info I need. Like, 17 with the same settings I have on in 16, is more zoomed in for me than 16, and I'm not sure how to fix it.

Whenever I've had games in progress that I wanted to continue playing, I've always imported them over to the new version. I've never experienced any technical issues doing so. Usually, however, I like to start fresh with each new version.

I'm all in on 17. I'm working on my first fully built fictional world right now in 17, and i'll probably import it to each subsequent release as it gets released over the next several years.

Nope I wait for 1 patch then usually I have been running test leagues using my real league so i know there are no issues. My League is in its 6 Version even if there's no difference its just better to play in the newest version least for me.

I only play 15 cause my 2 Online leagues are still there

I want to finish up the seasons of my two dynasties in OOTP 16 and then switch over. When that is done in approx. 1-2 weeks, I will switch over to OOTP 17 completely.

However, I'm playing by Toronto save in 17 already and I'm simming a fictional league to generate some history also.
