maybe not in the database yet, but there were a few pretty good ones that played in that era .... not certain of exact years of their arrival in NL - however - but here's a few to look for in the future:

Candy Jim Taylor 1907 or 1914 depending on source
Dave Malarcher 1916
Oliver Marcell 1918
Judy Johnson 1918

Spritze works in 17? This is news to me. Very interesting. Any problems that you can see with it so far?

How would you make it work in 17? Create a new league and select that data base, but then you would be without all the minor league players?

i did a small test, with Oscar Charleston.

found the directory for where my database files were 17 (which was in my document folder), put the spritze database in the stats folder, went to the free agent page of my test game (1920 historical minors), and imported Oscar to my free agent files. Worked like a charm. That's the only one i tried, but it worked.

Is there a list of all the people who have done mods? I'd like to know who the people are that have made my experience with this game so awesome.

Thanks, I'll look into these guys. Right now my 3B is William Binga using 1897 stats. He is hitting good, but has made some errors in the field that make me smh.

With regards to your fielder, remember it is 1897. That glove he's wearing is a bit of an innovation right now. Hopefully he'll get used to it.

EDIT: ...And the everything is working great note, well that just puts a smile on my face...
