Well, at least I don't recall seeing them advertised or mentioned in other threads. And I don't recall them being in OOTP 16. Here are three features that seem new to me that I discovered in the past 24 hours.

1. Not only are there game recaps now, but when you look at the day's schedule of completed games, each one has a brief one-line description of a key aspect of the game.

2. During the game, when a player is on base, his batting order number in the quick box score display changes to the base number he is on.

3. Check out the day/night lighting effects in the background over the outfield. Here is Busch Stadium in three different times of day/night.

This is great!

More excellent details of OOTP17.

Simply a terrific feeling of being engrossed in real baseball with OOTP17.
I enjoy the error plays. Do a fair amount of replays just to watch.

I'm hooked for sure.

It would have been told, had the article in question been vetted in time. (This is not the fault of OOTP.)

However, in function, this is what they do. They had to check to make sure I didn't make fun of Ruben Amaro too much. (I haven't checked to see if they took out what I wrote.)

If I'm not mistaken, I believe we had that in earlier versions years ago.
