a couple questions before I buy

I'm on version 16 and don't have as much time as I'd like to play but am still considering this version.

- The 3d animation really looks good to me as it reminds me of the old Micro League baseball which I played the hell out of as a kid. Is there any place I can watch it in action? Saw a bit in the trailer but would like to watch a whole game played out if I can.

- Are historical stadiums part of this 3d sim as well as current ones?

- Love the new license and face gen. Are there face gens of historical players as well or just 2016 guys?

- I started a sim in 1969 with OOTP 16. If I import this to 17, can I get the real minors as part of the new sim or am I stuck with the fake minors I have now? I don't necessarily need the real players but would be nice to have the real teams.

- Do the minor league teams update historically as far as location, number of sub leagues etc in historical sims as well?

- There is a video posted somewhere on here, I just forget where. You can check out OOTP's youtube channel as well, I think they did a twitch video on it but it was an outdated version.

- No historical stadiums.

- Facegens for modern day MLB players only. You can however download a historical facegen pack from the add-ons central.

- Doesn't work with imported leagues. You would have to start a new historical game with real historical minors enabled.

- Yes, the relocations for minor league teams do happen. But keep in mind the real minor league feature contains only MLB affiliated minor leagues

To the best of my knowledge, there are no historical 3D ballparks available anywhere.

Anyone know where I can find the video of the 3d gameplay Habsfan mentions above?

Haven't been able to locate it anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

There's a few stadiums here, read the first message, the download link is also there

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...rk-models.html

Here's a fairly decent video from youtube, wind forward to about 5mins in and there's about 3 innings or so of gameplay on there. It doesn't look like the screen resolution is that big but it'll give you enough to see what it's all about.

It really is excellent for a version 1 of the feature.

Also if you look at the top thread on the page it says they are starting that tournament live on twitch tonight, don't know but they may be playing it out in 3d so might be worth checking that out.
