Somehow I Messed Up My 17 Dark Skin

I was trying to put the icons from 16 into 17 and i thought i just had to paste the icons into the OOTP 17 dark sin folder and delete the skin.bin file and it will rebuild it. My saved game will load but with default 17 skin. When i switch to dark game crashes. What did i do wrong.

well I put the skin.bin file back. Dark loads but now the icons got moved to the elft and they are defaults still.

Did you close your game when changing the skin you have to close the game for it to work properly

Do it again. This only happens immediately after reloading a skin. Quiting the game and restarting it fixes it.

I uninstalled the game and am in the process of reinstalling it. Now i know where i made my original mistake based on a post from Bluenoser in another thread i believe it should work this time.

Got it working. Mizzoou told me to run it as admin. working now.
