minor league db question

So, I am trying to set up real coaches/managers for all levels for the 1976 season. The ones that played in the majors are simple to find using the search tool (then I just turn into coaches and go from there), the ones that played only in the minors I used to create from scratch in older versions of the game. With this new minor league database I figured I could find and locate the retired minor league player and turn them into a coach or manager. Unfortunately, I am having a heck of a time making this happen. Game seems to revert back to the major league database on searches. Is there a way to search and import directly from the other database (minor league database)?

thanks for the quick reply, actually makes me feel better knowing its just not an available option yet. I had been racking my brain trying to get it to work, lol
