Tom Petty

I've had the game for about a couple hours now. I have a question about something I'm seeing when playing out a game. When I hit 1 to put the play in motion, I get the play by play like normal. But, then the cursor turns in to a blue spinning circle. Happens every single time. Went back to 16 to make sure I wasn't imagining things, but nope, the cursor didn't do this when playing out a game with that version. I play fast, have been for years and this spinning circle seems to slow things down some. Anyone know what the spinning cursor is for?

I'm thinking this spinning cursor is graphics/3d related.

Anyone know why the cursor spins before you can move on to the next batter?

Ya I have noticed that there is a Pause before every play conclusion now so it takes a second to actually have a play set, I did noticed in 16 that some times rarely that you we have a batter bat and then he would get a hit but still be at the plate ad get a second at bat this seems to be in place to stop things like that but not sure.

It's driving me nuts. Never thought there would be something that drove me to sim, but this might be it. I'm actually using the 3d, because watching the pawns is less irritating than the spinning cursor delay thingy.

I'm running the newly released version on a Mac and have no problem with any spinning circle appearing. I have noticed that once a game starts, selecting Webcast view from the pulldown menu during the game simply defaults to Broadcast view and the Webcast view will not appear. This seems to be different from what I experienced in the Beta version yesterday.

I think I would give up the Webcast view to get rid of the spinning cursor. Ugh, short pbp/instant is no more. This is so disappointing.

What view/PBP settings exactly are you using that you see this on?
