Historical League & Historical Minors Setup with Manual Expansion (Non-Historical Teams) Possible?
I started a 1975 Historical League and then Manually Added Two (2) Non-Historical Teams in 1975. After simulating the season I found out that the Historical Minors will no longer work.
Now I did notice that the Two (2) Non-Historical Expansion teams did have Non-Historical Minor League Teams added. So it makes sense that for 1976 there would be no Historical Minor League Players added to those teams. Therefore it would make sense that there were No Historical Minor League Players were added to any of the of their Historical Minor League Teams since Minor League Teams come and go throughout the years. So, I was wondering if it is possible to Manually Expand (Add) Non-Historical Teams in a Historical League and Keep Historical Minors which would be added in a draft or free agent list. I hope that makes sense to those of you reading it. |

what i've found (through trial and error, and reading these boards) is - if you have historical minors, you CANNOT use fictional minors.
i was hoping there would be a way for them to co-exist (and merge) but so far, i haven't seen a way to make it happen. But all my tests, and experiences have been with 1901-1928 era, so it may be different in the "modern" world of the 70's. hope this makes sense and helps a bit.
