Player Potential Stat Maxes Out Randomly

I've been playing the new Beta version for a few hours now and in both of my simulations, nearly all of the players in the league have potentials of 80 and varying levels of overall that are at least 55. I'm assuming this is a bug, but i'm not sure if it has been reported yet.

No, and it doesn't start off that way. I'll be simulating and everything will be as expected, and then randomly everyone just has a huge stat boost, universally.

Scouting on? Fictional League, MLB? Default setups? Use the Creation Wizard?

Scouting perfect, Standard Game, MLB, Creation Wizard used. Not using default setups.

Yeah, we know, still trying to track it down. Please upload your league file (How to FTP files to OOTP Developments - Powered by Kayako Help Desk Software) and we will have a look.

After you do that, if you go to the main settings, you can press the "Recalc All Ratings + Run Re-Scout" button and that should (hopefully) fix your problem.

I'm attempting to zip up the DAT files, but they are only compressing down to 75MB, too big to upload to the FTP Server. Are there certain DAT files that I should not be including?

You should still be able to upload something that size. I believe you can leave out the retired.dat, but I believe we need all the other ones. If the FTP server doesn't work, you can always upload to dropbox or google drive and pm me the link if that's easier.

May be me, but doesn't that sound large for a set of .dat files?

Depends a lot on the game. My game is 150mb zipped. Took another sample league and it was 44mb zipped (34mb with 7z). If you have more leagues, more history, more players, it gets really big, even zipped.

I load up the file and I don't see the issue. Ratings look fine to me. Have you installed the newest release from yesterday?

I had this issue and had the relative to MLB ratings selected. I checked the setting again after the bug reported here occurred and the setting had changed from the MLB to the Italian Baseball League. I changed it back and the ratings went back to normal.

Bug appears to be fixed in the newest update.
