Why is my Player FaceGen greyed out?

I am trying to update my pictures and I can't use this option. It was always there in OOTP 16

Try selecting another option for the 'Player Pictures for' drop down. You should then be able to update all player pictures.

That worked. It got about 98% of the players. I checked 3 teams and maybe one or two per team didn't get updated. There was no pattern...for the Bucs, ie, Jordy Mercer and Kyle Lobstein had Facegens.

But, I can live with that one or two per team. Besides, I always try to updated their pics with the current team pic.
