Locate the OOTP 17 icon, right click, select properties, compatibility tab, and toggle the high DPI setting. Restart the game. That should fix this. |

This new version has some serious improvements. The new ability to list your specific trade needs and have teams come to you in fantastic. A huge time-saver and also it is a blast to get the emails offering you prospects after years of only being offered veterans I didn't want. The trading AI seems better too. More players to choose from and the quotes from your own GM are a nice touch. The expanded coaching information was badly needed and makes the process of choosing coaches more science and less random. Seeing how prospective coaches might match up with a team is a great touch. And of course the new leverage option is gold too. Still just learning but this is a really fantastic upgrade. Thanks so much to everyone who worked on it.

Well, I said I probably would not use it but I must admit I've had a lot of fun with the Historical Exhibition. I haven't even imported my 16 game yet, I've been fooling around with that. I can now honestly say the 2003 Marlins were better than the 1997 Marlins (a topic of some debate among my friends). The new 3D movement is cool but in all honesty it's not a big deal to me. I'm still using the webcast view with the ballpark views I made for 15 & 16.
Historical minors... wow. Considering the difficulty of tracking all this down, hammering it into order and getting it in the game to call that an achievement is an understatement. But... you you guys realize what you have DONE to me now??? I'm OC on having correct logos, uniforms, and stadiums for OOTP teams! I have weeks of work to do now! What did I ever to to you guys? ![]() The game runs smoothly, the uniforms/logo progression thing from 16 works correctly now. It's great! Thanks for another great addition to an already great title. |

I'm in love with the story lines in the box score and also, the ability to define team needs. That is a game changer for me.
I'm also enjoying the 3D players. I can finally have a game going and understand what it going on without reading . To be fair though, I do have voice running, so I can hear it and be alerted since I'm usually doing something else while a game is going. Last edited by Garrett67; 03-19-2016 at 09:00 AM. |

You created a great product this year. The 3D view with ball flight and player pawns put s it over the top for me. The historical series play is another fantastic addition.
For me the 3D ball flight's ability to add to the text description of the pbp was a sad absence in ootp. I would constrainly waffle between ootp and baseball mogul to get that visual display. No need to now! I know there are some sync bugs to workout on the text/3D side, I have seen no 3D often on first play of the game, but I am loving this version. Great effort gentlemen! The historical exhibition feature will make the game a must for casual fans. A lot of people don't want to mess with a league setup; they just want to sit down and play a game or a series with their favorite teams from the past. If you fit this description, buy this game asap and set up a game in 3d view. I guarantee you will be hooked.

I absolutely agree with this. I think this is the classiest default skin ever. It's very easy on the eyes.

It seems that a number of people don't like the new skins. Maybe OOTP or a modder will do the OOTP 16 skin for OOTP 17.

Did that. Still don't like any of the skins.

I think we get the message Wolf
Each to his own and you have every right to voice your opinion and it's as valid as anyone else's, but you do labour a point, telling us once was enough. Hopefully someone can make the skin for you and I mean that genuinely not sarcastically. If I knew how to do it, I'd do it myself. |

several cool things so far. see the 1st 3 ss's. The playoff thing , while odd is no big deal, for now. Why do the players look like blobs?
Jay Bruce sure hurried back to the dugout after striking out. Love seeing them run off the field after the half inning Why no FG for Jimmy Rollins?

Game recap will be really fun in my EBL league.
why 2 news stories on the same thing? One i can view boxscores & recap, the other i can not.

Guys I tried to do a historical replay from 1990, and I simmed to 1993 and no Brien Taylor...has anyone else found him in the game? Really wanted to try to see if he'd become a star.
