Finding a particular player..

One of my close Friend's Dad played minor league ball in the 40's or 50's. With all the new inclusion of players I'd like to find him in game and send my Friend a screenshot. Is this possible? What's the best way to go about this?

Tnx!!

Top of the game screen, type his last name in the box and hit enter.

Thanks! So far I haven't found him....I think I need to start a historical series later than when I think he played. Could be he never got high enough in the minors to get him into the game...we'll see

Try to look him up on Baseball Ref. That'll pinpoint the years he played.

Then start games starting in those years and use the search function as described above.

I'm glad you asked. It made me realize I could go look up a guy who I lived with (and his wife) when I was a kid for a bit. He was a pitcher for the Tigers long ago.
