Terrific!!! First thing I did was start a new 2016 game. Played 2 games. 1 with the 3D ballpark and one in broadcast mode. Have been playing before lunch, took a break, watched some real spring baseball, came back on to finish the transfer of OOTP16 games I have. Also, I love how the color scheme is on the transferred games. Looks really neat. Taking another break right now. I have no complaints. In general, everything does look more pleasing to the eye. Also played a game using the new historical match up. That was quick and easy to set up. That's gonna be fun playing around with if you want to just play a quick game or series. 1964 Phils beat the 1969 Mets, 4-2.

So my pitcher rang up a guy with no one on and the catcher fired the ball down to 3rd then around the horn in 3d mode.

This would be good. Not only is it redundant, but it's often a "spoiler" of sorts, because the PBP is often ahead of what's happening on the screen.

First impression: Install time on my Mac was superfast! Load times of leagues are significantly faster as well.

Are you in commish mode? Commish mode allows ticket price changes throughout the year.

Haven't been able to dig too deep into the game, although I started an historical exhibition, which is very cool! Can't wait to see 16 in '16 play out.

I don't know if this is a mac thing, it's minor, but I'm curious - I did a look around at face gens and it seems that several players - Kershaw, Kris Bryant and Jon Lester - have all gained substantial weight/puffyness.

Anyone else having this issue?

Hyun-jin Ryu is still my favorite facegen (OOTP 16 & 17)

Aside from the Phillies doing good, the game is very well done, runs smooth and faster than 16. Very impressed so far.

Playing 1977 Dodgers with historical minors enabled; pitch by pitch, 3D wide. Game play is smooth; icons move logically, setting the infield to DP works (as in, got a DP!); outfielders back up the play; 1B on bag when holding the runner, etc. Kudos! 3D wide recommended!
Notable minor leaguers include 18yr old Mike Scioscia, 20 yr old Pedro Guerrero and 20 yr old Rick Sutcliffe (impressive! have to resist the temptation to call them all up immediately!)

I just wanted to say that this is the reason I have pre ordered this game year after year. The 3D immersion in this game is fantastic, I have found myself just watching play by play...Might take me some time to get through a 50 year sim now.

Jut downloaded and opened the game. Noticed the main screen team logos were hyper-linked, so clicked and my browser opened the REAL team's home page. What a nice touch!

I'm interested in the bolded part as well. I'm particularly interested in whether or not there will be a Master.csv file going forward (for both MLB and MiLB databases), or has that gone the way of the dodo?

I can confirm that selecting "real stats" gives the minor leaguers realistic ratings, even back in '32.

Check your stats folder. It's not there. I assume (but that makes me an ass ) that it's because of all the added minor leaguers (which have their own separate database) which has "embiggened" all of the .csv files to such an extent that only 5 .csv files remain in the folder (MiLB Leagues.csv, MiLB Teams.csv [these of course are new], SeriesPost.csv, Teams.csv, and UniNumbers.csv). Everything else is gone and has been replaced by massive .odb files which I can't make heads or tails of.
