Saw a question in here that I didn't see answered. I'm sure a lot of us didn't check the "sub to our newsletter" box when pre-ordering. Does this means we'll be blocked from the e-mail? Or is that just for people who actively unsubbed from it.

Newsletter has nothing to do with this. You still get the email.

Hey, guys ~

I am on a MacBook Pro and have just downloaded OOTP17 and input my serial number. But when I go to click on the website activation link, it takes me to a blank page declaring "INVALID URL" and I don't know how to get past this.

I'm so desperate I'm almost ready to just purchase the game again and see if that works.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix this? I preordered on time and everything. But I just can't get in. Help ... ?

Sounds like a "server busy" sort of thing, try again later, and later, and later.

I fixed it. I had a web blocker active that I hadn't been aware of. Now I'm up and running and so excited.

There are certain ISP's implicated in blocking. It's almost certainly not OOTPD fault.
