If you haven't already seen it (though I'm sure you have), Netflix has a fantastic documentary called The Battered Bastards of Baseball that focuses on Russell's Portland Mavericks minor league team. Great viewing.

I am sure quite a few of you thought of this...pick a year to start then expand the league with a team filled with Only Minor Leaguers just to see if you can build a champion solely based on Minor Leaguers (No Major League Experience).

I play with historical transactions. MLB can't have him.

Will historical transactions work when playing with the new historical minors?

Only for players at the major league level. No minor league transaction file exists.

What happens to players who spend half or two thirds of the season in the minors and the rest in MLB,are they on the MLB roster or the minor league roster?

I have another real transaction question to ask if anyone knows the answer. I've always wanted to do real transaction, with injuries set to normal or high realistic. Having access to all the minor league players will make this possible, but what happens if a player suffers a career ending injury? Will this cause the game to crash? In the past it was hard to even play with injuries set to very low, because rosters were so limited.

They are part of the MLB teams major/minor league system. Just like IRL.

It should work exactly as it does now but without restricted roosters.
