Pick allstar info

Any chance to pick when voting begins(if you pick AS game after playoffs so voting is done 2nd half of year) or have schedule automatically put a break in schedule if its picked to be played late in season.

Has anyone even had the same issues as me?
1. Scheduling AS game any other time than the auto halfway it does not make a break for the game. (using 80 game schedule)
2. This caused me to move game after the playoffs. Voting actually starts on the last day of season but then doesn't give updates or continue. When the game comes it automatically finishes voting results with no number of votes. Also only half the time do i even get a message or news story with the full rosters.
3. If try to keep it yearly dated on sometime other than auto halfway it will turn off(will have date in options but blank on the year) and i have to manually reset year in options every season.

It's like this with the customized playoffs feature too. I have to reset it in Options to what I want every year, and it's annoying and somewhat of a PITA. Can you manually select all-star teams or is that closed off to you as well?

Yes. This is the one thing that has been frustrating that OOTP hasn't dealt with yet. I hate half season All Star Voting. I've always wanted to be able to just have it at the end of the regular season, and I'm surprised that even just having that option as a toggle isn't available without it acting strangely.

Come to think of it, it's a very good idea because then the full season plays out. I can't count how many times the final few cuts from the All-Star teams have taken their rage out on pitchers or hitters in the second half and made me look like a fool (not hard to do). Then there are the guys that make it, and suck eggs in the secound half and again make me look like a fool (what did I say about that above).

I can still vote, but i dont use that option. Itd just be nice to get the break placed anytime but the halfway.

Many things about this game seem like simple fixes to coding simpletons like me. Then I find out from the big cheese that it's not really that simple after all.

Cable, Interleague games, and players collecting and All Star check for not showing up killed the All-Star game. The game was designed to show off the best players to markets that only heard them on the radio or saw them on the game of the week. In today's multimedia world, I can see everyone I want to and never leave my market.
