New Fictional Roster Set

I'm just now uploading a fictional roster set starting in 1900. It's modeled after my Fictional MLB League with 40 teams in 4 Division with 2 leagues. It'll be ready to download at my site in about 20 minutes or so. Any questions feel free to ask.

It's a good starter set. I would have prefered it more if all teams were fictional as well.

Thanks Cuss. Yeah that was modeled after my fictional MLB League. I was going to do one with the same cities with all original nicknames and logos but never got around to it. I'll see what I can come up and if I need some help with logos I'll be over on your site. Thanks!

Just curious on how you can handle dealing with the fact that you cannot see all of the teams listed on the standings and the schedule screens for any league over 36 teams? It bothers me so much that I had to refrain from starting leagues larger than that just to avoid this problem.

Yeah, not seeing the final two games on the scheduling screen sucks big time if you're playing an NL team. I've never had a problem on the standings screen though seeing all the teams, only the scheduling screen. I normally don't play my games out so I haven't had a huge problem with it.

If Marcus can't fix the issue and fit all the teams on there for 40 teams he could add something on the Team Screen. Where it shows Today's Game he could add two buttons saying Sim or Play. That would help for those who have their games showing off the screen in the scheduling screen.

I documented the standing screen problem a while back and might be solved for some 40-team leagues dependant on the division structure. I had also had a problem on the standing screen with a 2 league structure with 1 or 2 large divisions in each as well as a 1 league structure with a lot of teams.

A simple fix would be a simple scroll bar.

Just a few comments about the roster set: the average rating for all players in general is a bit too low. The highest guys in the league only has a 5 in average. And in pitching, the ERA rating id too low. Most guys are under 5. I think you should higher the ratings and maybe do a dynasty thread to promote the roster set like what GForce did with the USBA. Just my 2-cents.

Yeah, since this is the first season the guys were all created and some of them are pretty low. I'll be updating every year I go through and will post stories on my site and on the Dynasty Thread about the year that just got done. Normally after about 3 or 4 years all the lower rated guys are dropped out.
