OK folks, this is so cool. Matt added WPA graphs to box-scores, hurray! Here is a very nice example of a comeback. This was just a random game I simulated, and it totally reminded me of the 2015 ALDS matchup where KC frustrated Houston fans with their comebacks. Oh, and don't you love those recaps?
![]() By the way, creating recaps and those WPA graphs takes a bit of time, so if you want to simulate long stretches of time as fast as possible, I suggest disabling the recap feature in the global game options temporarily. Thank you Matt for implementing this! ![]()

Great new feature and looks like a lot of thought was put into it. Adds a lot of descriptive value to the usually mundane boxscore.
Hope I'm not piling on work for Matt here, but would it be possible to add the option to just have the game recap turned on for certain teams/leagues/etc if it's going to be time-consuming? Thanks! |

The WPA graph is a really nice new addition and along with recap makes for a great condensed look at a game.
Along those lines, two things I'd love to see on a box score: RISP line (x-of-y) and number of leadoff batters to reach. Both are high leverage indicators that help tell a story of a game. And the former at least is common on box scores online. |

Looks good. Will it be able display the entirety of games that go extra innings?

This does look great!
Question for the devs... not previously having the recap feature, I've gotten in the habit of doing my own recaps for certain "special" games - a comeback of this nature could qualify. Are we able to edit the auto-generated recaps to provide our own "color", if you will? Looking forward to OOTP17! |

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Screw Trump and Clinton, Matt 4 Prez. I know you and I are Canadian, but we don't have a president, however Super Tuesday just passed so we've gotta get with the times.

Wow what a best feature. Probably going to turn that on for the playoffs and keep it off for the regular season. Excellent job by Matt though that looks fantastic.

Very Cool! Nice job, Matt!
I did notice that the recap had Springer at 3B but he's listed as RF in the lineup though. |

Maybe I'm selfish but I don't want Matt to become President because he'd have less time to work on OOTP.

Y-axis is % chance to win the game. Middle horizontal means 50:50 even chance. All the way down means 100% chance one team wins. All the way up means 100% chance the other team wins. X-axis is time through the game (often presented in innings). Each play is another dot on the graph that calculates a new % chance of winning. All the way to the right is the end of the game. Another way to look at it is the largest movements on the graphs are the most important plays of the game. |

I'm pretty sure I read Markus or Matt saying the other day that if you go into write your own recap then the games recap text is there and you can edit/delete it and write your own as normal. |
