Disable Retirement?
I'm starting a tiny league in which I'm plugging in my friends names and what not for a fictional 'teen summer league in the neighborhood'. I've made some fictional players, assigned to teams, etc.
But one problem keeps popping up: Players retiring. Is there anyway to turn this off? I know that you can go into the editor somewhere and un-retire a player, but it happens so often it'd be nice to just disable them retiring all together. Is that possible, or do you just have to constantly hunt down the player and un-retire them? Thanks H |

Who keep s retiring, young or old players? i know if you create a fiuctional player in a real league and you have players reire due to history checked then your custom players will retire often at years end. You could set the age for the league at default to 100 or whatever the max is and then they will play forever basically. You can also change teh aging modifiers from default to .000 and that would keep a 70 yr old as good as he was at 25.

Where do you do that at in the game settings?

Younger players, but then again everyone in the league is 16-18. I do recall setting something to max age 18 so maybe I was working against myself on that one. I'll try changing it to a higher amount and see if that prevents people from retiring so early.
It's a fictional league and development of players isnt a concern (it'll reset each year probably), but it'd be nice for them to stick around ![]() Thanks |

turn off aging and development if you do not intend to use it. your game will run faster, since less processing is required. |

Check your league settings and make sure "Retire players according to history" is turned off. Otherwise your fictional players will retire after each season. You will have to go through and retire players manually when their time is up but your fictional players will remain.
Or, you could just unretire them after each year. |
