Managing new universe for Random Debut

I became an OOTPer last year, and I became intrigued by the idea of running a random debut sim running 1880s-to-present utilizing realistic MiLB to the extent that it's possible. With the addition of the new MiLB dbse in OOTP 17, that idea takes on new dimensions. And so here's a question for any vets accustomed to managing a large roster for an all-time recreation: if the universe of players ends up being around 150k (a # Matt Arnold threw out in his interview last week), how do I figure the aging out of players over time? In other words how can I manage that roster over time to start incorporating a couple MiLB teams per franchise in the say, the 20s, then up that to maybe 5 or 6 by the 50s? I can't just divide 150k players by 130 years .. I would need to know the rate at which players retire.
