Ah, I meant OOTP's first 3D engine. I should probably give it another try with OOTP16 to see if that's better.

Will there be some extra, generic 3D stadiums for fictional teams? I know there was one default Major league ballpark and a default minor league ball park (that didn't seem to work right),

It would be cool if there were a handful of fictional stadiums we could use...

In Football Manager Touch, you can click on "instant result," if you don't want to play out a game. Also remember, a Premier League season is 38 games, plus various cup games.

Hoping we can finally get some classic stadiums and stadiums that actually look real. Would be nice to see the brown ivy in the spring and it gradually turns green by summer. Was shocked when I saw that MLB The Show '15 had this.
In my main league i play in the Skydome but you cant see the restaurant in the 3D view nor is their any signage, Also would be nice to have modded signage.

Also, will it now be easier to import third-party stadiums – like the ones you'd find in 3-D warehouse? I tried to do this a bunch of times for 16 and it just never worked right. Ugh.

Solid work so far. Splendid work in progress. Know this would be further down the line, but fan movement (in reaction to plays/scores/homers, etc.) like in FM would be absolutely stunning. Not to mention the crowd sporting team colors. Just dreaming out loud.

How do you propose this stuff be implemented?

I'm all for improved 3D stadiums with the new moving player symbols, but the stuff you're asking for is entering MLB The Show territory.

We have to remember this isn't a video game on PS4. It's a management/strategy baseball sim.

The thought of live play by play, announcers, 3D fans moving around etc.. all sound great, but we have to stay realistic. It's not an arcade baseball game.

It's ok, Habsfan18. Just dreaming out loud. We're realistic and not asking for an arcade game. But, keep in mind FM is not an arcade game either and it actually has this as an option. Simply proof that it can be done. Whether it will be done in OOTP, well I recognize that's up to Markus. Still, if OOTP never had this, even as an option, I'd still enjoy playing it.

I demand 3D look this in OOTP 18. I would not settle for less:

Is this a Micro League Baseball throw back?

I was just looking for this game to play online as i used to play this with my dad growing up.

Loved this game.

Love how the 3D looks, any news on historical parks being added though. I like playing in the 1940s and 1950s and really need a great looking Ebbets Field and The Polo Grounds. I don't mind having the other teams playing in their modern parks

If I knew what tools they were designed with and the particulars of how they are exported for use I would be interested in working on building stadiums. That could be a lot of fun.

I spent two entire summers locked in my room playing this game on my C-64. I was as pale as a ghost because I spent hours and hours playing Microleague.
