New 3D Stadiums

I am excited by the entire feature list, but this looks like the year OOTP 3D mode will actually be my every game mode. starting to look very nice. bravo

It's definitely a big improvement. I don't know how much I'll use it in 17, but 3D is definitely progressing forward.

Could future versions be like Football manager where you really aren't given a choice and you pretty much have to manage each game?

I agree with the OP, it looks like it's finally time to go 3D.

Sometimes it takes a few versions to work all the issues/bugs out of a feature.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I like the player icons. They look sort of look like mini Fry-guys. It's actually kind of cute.

Yup. We'll continue to work on this. One day I want a "build-your-own-ballpark"-feature in the game

The best part is they are kind of place holders. Next year they could all of a sudden be players with arms / legs / animations.

It would also be nice (but a lot of work) if you could include say 16 or 24 fictional ballparks that were as detailed as the major league parks.

I would stop buying if that happened.

Pairing this with text to speech is going to be great. Maybe this feature could be added to macs this year?

You and me both. It would be a great feature. OOTP 19?

I think that would be the dream. That's easily the coolest part of Football Manager in that you can legit watch a game unfold and not just read text updates. I haven't used 3D since the first version it was implemented and crashed my laptop. I wonder how much it's gotten better as far as not being a total CPU hog.

In regards to this most recent FM. The 3d match engine looks wonderful, but I have an i7 with an 860M GPU. So it might be because of that.
