Free Agent Bids for Wrong Team
ahh damn -
Ok someone in the league just FTP'd free agent offers (at season start) for what he thought was HIS team - it wasn't - it was the first team to show up on the FA screen. Im sure this is somewhat common - but what are my options for correcting this soon to be ugly situation? Thanks in advance ... and i've already imported them

I don't know if overwriting the offers would hel, but passwording all teams should have taken care of that.

yeh - this happened probably minutes before i reminded everyone to put passwords on their teams for the bids...

The only thing you can do is restore to a pre-import backup of the league file.

i guess i can't get into the FTP site and delete the wrongly teamed file and re-import the offers again ???
but if i do restore to an earlier (pre-import) league - does the data still remain onthe FTP site - ??? i would think it would, no?

FYI - i DL'd the old league file - and put it in a different folder etc....
copied allthe imported Fa bids (except the bogus one)..so i was runnign a duplicate league for about 17 minutes to switchover everything - now the new league exactly resembles theold one and all looks well...Fa bids are run tomorrow...yeah .. again thansk toall...

yeh - my bad - forgot to mention to password teams - not many do that - then it all happened ....
