All-Star Game doesn't like rookies?

So the current all star game manual voting isn't showing my starting rookies.
So, Hunter Parsons is a rookie, and he currently is 4-1 with a 1.79 ERA, but isnt on the ballot even though Lucas Giolito is 0-5 with a 4 something ERA but is on the ballot? any reason that Parson isn't but Giolito is?

Popularity, most likely. There is a box on the options page for ASG voting to favor popularity.
