Hey Markus, any ETA on OOTP17 news??

Not that it is a rush!! I know the info is coming when it is ready, but A.J. Preller needs to go, and I know just the arm chair GM to step in and continue to fumble along with the Padres!

I keep waking up and looking at my emails to see if a new OOTP email is waiting eagerly to take my money

There isn't going to be an OOTP17. Markus and Co were busy making it, but then got an offer to do sound on the forthcoming world tour of the brand new and hottest mime star of the 21st century.

I'm guessing it will be released when it normally is around the start of April/opening day(aside from OOTP10 or 11 which didn't get released until June/July).

Maybe some confusion to my question. Not asking when it comes out. Asking when news on all of the "new features and goodies" of OOTP17 comes out.

Last year they released that in early March, then the game was out in April.

For 15 and 16, the newsletter with all of the features was sent out in late January - along with the respective forums being added/created. We do seem to be a bit delayed this year.

I'm hoping it's because the features and improvements will be extra awesome this time around.

It will be hard to top OOTP16, but I'm sure Markus will find a way.

Hey now, there is no try. Just because every season seems to end with a broken bone or a ruptured tendon doesn't mean I'm not reclaiming my glory for the two games I get to play before hurting myself.
