Team Leader Ability Question
I have a very young team that is not expected to contend for a few years, so overall I'm going with a younger player over a veteran wherever I can. But if I decide to bring in a veteran or two, should I get a guy who has a high team leader ability rating? Will this help the younger players develop? If I have a high leadership guy, will he help the younger players develop in that trait? Or will a leader out of the young guys eventually step up if there is no veteran leader?

if you only have a couple 10 or more ML year vets, i'd get a controlling manager while players are developing (until 28? check manual for end of development years).
verify when vets dislike controlling coaches. i thought it was 10 year vets and more. that should be inthe manual too. if not this year's, then a recent one, and double check that it isn't outdated info, lol. some give a bit more info than others in spots. |
