If someone has already posted this, I apologise.

I would love to see an overhaul of the trading system. Make it so that the other team replies with SOMETHING when a player is offered...or even a comment from the opposing GM.."we are looking to upgrade our infield/rotation/bullpen." As it stands currently I find far too much time is spent on trying to swing deals.

The game already outline's other team's strengths and weaknesses for you, but I agree that there should be some sort of generic statement from the other team's GM.

For instance, when you choose the other team, instead of a blank space, there should be some sort of fairly generic statement of what the other team needs... "Hey, how's it going? We're looking for a power-hitting corner OF, a left-handed reliever, or a solid defensive SS. I don't mind giving up a decent prospect or two or one of our backup catchers if you make me a good enough offer."

That's a great start for sure! Or, when making an offer, they should respond with something as opposed to you having to scour their team or prospects only to get a "no way we would make that trade" or "I'm not trading for vastly overpaid veterans".

That should apply to you (us human players) when the AI team makes an offer.

I'd like to see the "shop player around" feature expanded. Right now, I shop a guy, I get back a list of 1 for 1 deals that usually include players of similar salary or age. I'd like to be able to specify, this is what I'm looking for in exchange. So, maybe I'm offering a SP because I want a ML OF back. or maybe I'm offering an OF but want back prospects. And let the AI offers come back with multiple players, or some sort of counter.

would love to see the Trade AI offer me a player that I could really use...and...when shopping a player...have the OPTION to choose a position that im looking for in a trade.

probably never going to happen (must be a rule in MLB somewhere to prohibit it) but i'd like to be able to trade International Complex players as well.
