Online League Suggestion
I'd like to suggest an option to add an adjust for roster limits button that would act similar to running the AI on a team but would be less harmful to online league teams that forget to set their opening day rosters.
Often times a team leaves one or two extra players on their teams at the start of opening day, requiring a commish to auto AI their entire team. This leads to the AI going through the whole team often promoting/demoting multiple players throughout their minor leagues, cutting players, and sometimes even pulling players out of the team's international complex. My idea would be to just simply implement a process that only demotes/waives and DFA's players necessary to reach roster limits. The process could be a top-down approach whereas the players are demoted or DFA/waived from the ML roster to reach the limits. If that puts AAA over the limit, then the AI would demote players to AA and so on until you reach the rookie level league. If the rookie level league is over roster limits then the AI would cut however many players needed to reach the limits. This would also save time in allowing the commish to actually enforce roster limits as the game currently doesn't enforce this for human controlled teams. A simple press of the button would enforce the limits without a total AI adjustment of the rosters.

I know what you are referring to. In my league, I have a rule that anyone that is out of DFA time is waived unless I see a roster spot open for them in AAA, AA or A ball that falls within our roster limits. If not they are released. Big issue on the major league roster is the spring training invite list and leaving those players on the roster for opening day without adding them to the secondary roster. The game should do that automatically or send an error message to the owner when he exports that he has this problem instead of waiting for the commish to find out when the sim is running. Jason |

I like it, I really like the error message on export. I always have to fix ST invite problem son opening day.
