Small Changes to Feeder Leagues

I realize Feeder Leagues are not widely used and development efforts on them is usually not time well spent. But if it could be done I'd like to see three (hopefully) small changes made in how the game handles them.

Feeders are treated as minor leagues when it comes to activating Face Gen. It isn't possible to have Face Gen for the professional minors and NOT have it for the feeders. I'd love there to be an option to disable it for feeders.

There is already a feature to delete minor league players who never reached the majors. I like to keep that off because one of the best parts of the game is the history it builds as the game years pass. But I would like an option to delete players who never played professionally. One of the big disadvantages of feeders is after 50 years of game time you have created a crap ton of players who never see an AB in the minors.

And last, feeders are treated as an independent minor league team with a full staff of GMs, Managers, Coaches, and Scouts. That is totally unnecessary. Since they don't have financials money is no object. They can hire any coach at any time. If it must have the positions at all the same 3 coaches as the minor leagues is more than sufficient. I'd be fine with it if they had no team staff and were not available as a management choice of the player.

I don't think anyone uses feeders to manage feeder teams. The only use I see in them is to create a draft pool with a statistical history that is more than just one line that to date no one has clarified if it was a career line or a "senior season" line. If I could get that without using feeder leagues I would but as it stands only feeders build a prospects statistical history. If these tweaks are do-able I know I'd appreciate it!

I know Markus doesn't like them and they are a tremendous drain on the game because, well you need a lot of teams that have a lot of players. If I'm using feeders then I am not going to have a lot of other leagues like international, winter leagues, indy leagues, etc. I'll use a 24-28 team major league with no more than 4 levels of minors and that is it. It is not as diverse or interesting a game as it might be but if you are playing stats only feeders are a really big help.
