Sorry, you'll first need to use the 'Info' drop-down and select one of the statistics displays. Then the second drop-down should appear.

Ok, found it for individual teams, thank you.

Is there no way to see League Leaders for play offs?

I can't seem find the list of upcoming players for the draft. I can see last years in the draft log but i hit the drop down for this current season it is blank. I didn't think it would be there anyway but for the life of my i can't find it. I know i've come across it before.

Anyone?

I just posted this in our online league chat and wanted to share

"The scouting is so well done in this game. It's actually INTERESTING to look through what guys are finding. Very impressive. Neat to see too the subtle differences when two scouts are looking at the same group."

Which leads me to my next question...when looking at your lines screen, who's rating are you seeing if more than one scout has scouted the team?

Under the Team + League section ... League->Stats, then there are 5 blue buttons just below the main menu ... choose Player Stats then do as you did to get the team stats

Is there a way to put a player on the injury list from the player menu? I tried the "Action" drop-down and it doesn't give the option. The only way I can figure out how to put a player on the injury list is by right-clicking his name in the active roster screen.

Bridgeport Sound Tigers(AHL) are located in Connecticut not New York. I was switching them too become the New York Islanders(AHL) and noticed the mistake on the team edit page.

I'm having difficulty figuring out how to interpret the health status information for players on a team's injury list. See the example below. How can I tell when a player is going to be able to return to play? The CTR column is a counter that appears to refer to days left on injured reserve. DAYS seems to refer to length of the injury. But I can't see how to reconcile either of these two values with the MIN DAYS and MAX DAYS values for a player.

Those two just show the possible range of injury lengths for that type of injury (e.g. 90-140 days for a fractured ankle), so you've got some idea of whether you've been lucky or not with the duration.

Thanks, I'll get that fixed in the database. Looks like there actually is a Bridgeport, NY, a little town near Syracuse, hence the confusion.

That's the only way right now. We really need to get those two menus matching.

Quick question about historical stuff.

I'm messing around in the late 1970s and I see a "NHL Dispersal 1978 log" on the screen, but it didn't appear in events or happen AFAIK. It seems the Cleveland Barons were instead just cut to FA? Just placeholding for something to be added later?

Yup, that's exactly what it is. I'd like to get the actual method for dispersing the Barons' players into the game eventually, hence the existence of that "draft" in the database, but for now that's how they're handled.

Seems the same with anyone who signed in the WHA before folding? Ends up getting Messier, Gretzky, among others who've been underage signings in multiple run-throughs (D Savard,, Murphy, Sundstrom, etc).

Any way to avoid this/get them into a draft? Would taking control of every WHA team for 2 years prior to taking over an NHL team, and declining any underage selections work to get those guys in the draft?

Is there a way to predetermine games your backup goalie will play? In simming multiple days at a time with lines set to manual, I'm not sure how to make sure my backup plays, but doesn't play 4 times in a row, for instance.

So, i play in Historical mode in the WHA and changed the name of a team more to my liking, but as far as i can tell that franchise just got folded from the league, which means i now will have to start over again without my players scoring for the team?
