Going to a new season
On two different NHL seasons I've had trouble going from June 30 to July 1 and a new season. On my Windows 8 computer it took me three tries before it moved to the new season. On my Windows 10 computer I'm on my third try at going to the new season and still waiting. On FHM 14 it took a little time to go from one season to another, but it only took one shot. Please take a look at this issue.

Game won't process to a new season
On my Windows 10 computer I've tried 6 times so far to go to a new season, go from June 30 to July 1, and the game will still not process to the next day. This is frustrating and needs to be addressed or I need an explanation on how to go from June 30 to July 1 in less half an hour.

Not sure this of any help, but it does a long time to go from June 30 to July 1. I have a high-end laptop CPU (i7-3630QM 2.4GHz quad-core), and I have to wait at least 15 minutes for the June 30 to July 1 sim.

Although it is slower for this one day, it is manageable since it only happens once per season. However, as this process is optimized, I recommend making a change to the messaging back to the user since I think how it shows today makes it appear longer then it really might be. It seems for every league it displays a 1-100 progression bar which loads after each other. This gives the impression you might be stuck in a loop. Instead of having a separate progress bar that repeats itself, you should only have one for the entire process. Then the user will truly know how long it is taken since they will see the end in sight.
