Schedule Snafu?

I just played a doubleheader against two different teams, with both games starting at the same time. Neither game was because of a previous rainout. Anyone else had this happen?

Regular season? I've never seen this happen and the only RL example I can think of is split squad in spring training.

I recently had a home and away, day-night doubleheader scheduled with two teams that are roughly 1500 miles apart.

This is the major problem with the new rain-out feature. It schedules home and away doubleheaders to make up the rain out if that is the only series left.

I also hate that you can not view both boxscores on DH days.

The idea of the rain-out was great, but its first implementation was not well-developed. One of few things Markus and crew have really hiccuped on over the years.

I imagine you mean off the schedule page, that's a nuisance. I'll go to the profile page of my SP for the other game and click on the RESULT link in his game log section to see the box. I've found that's the easiest way.

lol, what thunder said... i didn't read beyond david's post like a dummy.

well i have another comment i guess, since it's here...

does travel have influence in this game? never been sure. (not as an argument to ignore the problem, but for greater personal knowledge of the game.)

A question for the original poster: Did you import a custom schedule?

I can view boxscores from DH games, I just click on the scores and the box score pops up.

I did not import a custom schedule, and as I mentioned this doubleheader was not the result of any rainout, which is why I was so baffled. What I didn't mention was that the next day was an off day, then there was a game with one of the teams from the doubleheader. Very strange.

smiller: What schedule were you using?

On what day did the conflict occur?

I am using the regular schedule generated every year for my fictional league (15 years now). The doubleheader was on Sunday, April 24, then an off day, then a game with one of the teams from the doubleheader, then another off day, then a series against a new team.

So you were using a schedule that was generated by the game? That is weird. I've never heard of a game-generated schedule creating that sort of conflict.

So you're telling me I looked at both box scores and didn't realize they were identical? Granted I've only had about 3 double headers as I play in a dome but I'll have to go back and check that out. I'd be pretty red faced if I that is the case.
