That's strange, I don't have that in my my game when in 1920x1080 windowed mode. When i turn off windowed mode it appears. Seems to be a bug of sorts as you will notice that it's not clickable as well.

Editing player/ personnel names, age, abilties etc. I'm in Fictional, I'm playing Commissioner, but I still cant see an edit option anywhere when on the player profile ..

So I am trying to use the create a player feature to make a offensive d-man but every time I create one his preferred major role is a defensive d-man and gets pissed if I change it. Any way to fix this?

Is there no way to view last seasons stats (or filter by them) in free agency or the draft without clicking on each guy individually?

Unfortunately, it's not there.

It's a shame. The way the game is set up now, if you don't click that option when you start your career, GM'ing a team through Expansion is totally pointless.

My owner has 20 as his patience setting and he still fired me and the head coach of the club in late January of our first season.

Simple solution. Turn on commissioner mode and go get your job back!

But.. it's a fair point. It would be nice if the can't be fired option was always available.

Yes, or it should be coded that their are very different expectations for a General Manager with an Expansion club.

It's crazy that an owner with 20 as his patience setting fired the GM in January of the first season of an expansion team.

Just wondering...the FHM2 fact sheet mentions a line chemistry system. Is there a way to view line chemistry, or is it something that's hardcoded into the game based on attributes?

There's no way to view it. Some players just perform better with other players based on complementary roles and attributes.

Obviously a very small sample size, but it seems that the owners are way too aggressive with firing people, period.

I've not finished my second season yet, and the Avalanche, Oilers and Hurricanes have all had three coaches so far. That's kind of ridiculous.

My Expansion brethren have fired their coach and GM in the first season and now the replacements for both have just been rumoured to be in trouble. This is all in their first season. If they get fired, the Nordiques will have had three coaches and three GMs in the inaugural season.

I'm seeing the same thing as well after my first year. It's not just 2-3 teams, but nearly 1/3rd of the NHL coaches are apparently on the hot seat.

Only if he's been drafted, on the unsigned prospects page of his drafting team. During a draft, guys with incompatible preferences (e.g., college-bound players in the OHL draft) won't be listed as draft-eligible - it's a bit of a workaround, but keeps you from having to check each guy individually.
