Game Crashes every 3 in game years

I am getting really frustrated with this issue, it seems i can never go more than 3 years in a franchise without it crashing when the next season starts.
no matter what team, year or settings i use it ALWAYS crashes every 3rd or 4th year. ill be buying the new one but any help here?

The game won't play if any team(s) are playing with incomplete rosters. Go through every team and check and make sure all the rosters are full. At least that was the problem that I had and the game never crashed afterwards(as long as the rosters were full).

I'd just wait and see if the patch happens to fix any of this.
