Post Deadline rosters - Page 4

Pre season predictions work for me.. only thing I ran into was illegal number of players on a roster in the Baseball Challenge League, they have 8 guys.. I just ended up filling the league with fictional players. Not something I ran into before, then again I usually just play standard game with just the MLB minor system.

thanks for the update... I'd say move Kyle Schwarber on to the cubs active MLB roster.

Okay, at the risk of sounding like an idiot, lol.........i'm savvy with modding games.

I've modded MVP 2005 PC, Madden 08 PC, and a few x360 games, but this one is throwing me for a loop!

Downloaded and unzipped the package, placed all folders and files into Documents>Out of the Park Developments>OOTP 16.

I'm not sure which file/folder to place in the quickstart_games folder.

Can someone be so kind to point me in the right direction, please?

Boot up the game and start a new QuickStart game and boom, roster file should be there for you to start

That's what is confusing me.

There are a lot of files, lol!

I run into problems with other Leagues like Negro so just delete them.

The problem for me is I don't see a .quick file to place in the quickstart_games folder.

I started a new standard game and replaced everything in my save folder with your roster, etc.. and no problems as of now.

I just wanted to know if there was a way to have the roster without all the injuries. I'm starting a sim league and I don't want my GMs to start with injuries (ex: Stroman in TOR, out for 12 months).

I mean when get to a certain Date have to delete League from my League to continue.
If I affiliate the Monarchs with the Royals I start the Season undefeated but the Royals place Gordon on Waviers and gets claimed and if I pace him on Waviers that might not happen right away.

Bit of a dumb question, would this quickstart work on OOTP 15? I'm doubtful, and I tried it out, but it wasn't working.

Not sure if it's a game issue, or an issue with this file..but I have had my game freeze up more than once.. very annoying, very frustrating.. won the world series one time and it reset back to 10 games before the playoffs started.. I was as far as 2031 or maybe a few years further and had it freeze on me. I have done backups , but to even lose a year, 6 months sucks.

But I do believe this has happened not using these rosters, so I am certainly not blaming.. at all...

It goes back to the last save you made. I put a 1 week autosave on so never lose more than a week.

I downloaded the file and put it in the correct folder in ootp 16, but when i go to load it in the game it crashes. Is there something i did wrong.

Thanks for doing this, this worked out great! The only thing that I've run into is that it refuses to let me do a double switch. Whenever I try a double switch, the position player has to pitch to 1 batter before I can swap. I was able to do it in the regular game, but not the quick start.
