I honestly cannot believe that this is in the released version. Color me astounded.

OOTP since v. 1 for me, which we converted to after FPS 98 which was what we had converted to after Micro League Baseball (starting all the way back to Micro League 1).

After all in Real Life NO team do get into the playoff with lets say 23 players ready to play.
Am I missing something or is this true.
Yes, you are entirely correct. This situation never happens in real life and needs to be addressed in a patch. I'm told that the issue is logged.

I just discovered how to get a player from the DL to the Playoff Roster between series (assuming the player was on the active roster or DL at midnight on August 31). It won't let you move him from the DL to the playoff roster. You have to designated the player for assignment. It will then immediately let you move him to the playoff roster. At least that just worked for me.

The same process works to move minor league players from the 60-day DL back into the minors without having to place them on the active roster first.

I move them directly and it works.

I may have been thinking about guys that didn't have a minor league deal. Previous versions had some kind of problem moving guys directly from the 60-day to the minors. The situation hasn't come up for me in 12 yet.

I couldn't change my playoff roster after the world series and before a made up league. The game thought i was already in a series, even though the first game is tomorrow... and commissioner mode doesn't help - you can make people eligible, but you can't move them in and out of the roster. This seems like a defect.
