Amatuer Draft Stats

I'm coming up on the amateur draft and I have noticed than none of the draft eligible players from HS have any stats for the past season. It is 2016 in my league, and some of the HS players have stats from 2014, but no recent stats.

Is it supposed to be like this? I play semi-stats only so this is a problem for me if it is how it's supposed to work.

Thanks for any insight people can provide.

Yes, these are real players and we haven't added stats for many of them and the game doesn't auto generate stats for them either.

Okay. So as I progress through more seasons and the game begins generating fictional HS players for the draft, will they have stats or will the game never generate fictional stats for the amateur draft players?

The game will generate stats for all fictional amateur draft players.

I guess that's my question. What year can I expect the game to start generating fictional HS players with stats? Like I said, I'm in 2016 now.

There are a few real guys left in 2018, but you should start getting fictional guys then, 2019 should be mostly all generated guys.
