Yes david!! I thought I was going crazy as I was paying attention to something on tv at the same time. I was sorting through active players to see who was missing a facegen and several times names I KNEW I saw in sortable players were missing after I clicked a different player and clicked back to sortable. You saved me a trip to the looney bin.

BUG FOUND. This may have been mentioned already, but if you offer a vesting option to a player for a certain amount of innings pitched, the number automatically gets multiplied by 10. So if you had a thresshold of 30 innings, it goes to 300. Then if you go in the editor and try to fix it, when you exit the editor it again multiplies whatever you entered by 10.

I tried re-downloading the previous patch from the link provided in the old patch, but it just stayed on the new one. So, how can I go back to the previous patch correctly?

Does anyone know where to pick up patch 16.5.23?

Go here and click the folder for 16.5.23: Index of /ootp
Download ootp16setup.exe in that folder. That will be version 16.5.23. You will need to uninstall 16.6.30 and reinstall 16.5.23. Unlicense your game and back up your league first!

Another issue I found with this patch is that the "disable AI promotion/demotion" doesn't work anymore. I usually have all the minor leaguers I care about on that setting so I control their movement but it doesn't lock the players anymore.

Aren't league files not reverse compatible to previous patches once opened and saved under the most current patch? Seems like I read that somewhere...

That's an odd one and it generally falls under a designation of responsibility. What mode (role) are you playing and who is assigned control of minor league promotions and demotions?

On the one I tried, gm & manager with assistant gm handling all milb stuff. This is a league I carried over that used the same settings and those players never moved unless I did it.

I don't remember, but just seems like recently I remember seeing that when someone was asking about reverting to an earlier patch... Maybe its just Déjà vu...

Yeah, if the Assistant GM is handling that, he'll move them up and down as he sees fit. You can always lock an individual player to a level, but if you don't want any movement, you have to be the one in control of that level.

But that's how I've always done it. With players I want to control, I disable AI promotion/demotion and the AI/Assistant GM hasn't touched em...until this update.

Recap of issues with this patch
As a community service, here are what I have gleaned as the issues identified with this patch. Many of these, Matt has already said will be fixed in the upcoming maintenance patch. So, in the order in which they appeared in the patch thread:
There are two other recent entries in this thread with references to possible bugs: greenrebelion (post #224) and ludosc (post #229). I am not discounting these but I have included only the issues which seem to have been confirmed by other users or responses from OOTPD. They should be looked at and either confirmed or denied. Here are two other threads that ask whether there are these problems with this patch: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ng-voting.html (may be related to pitcher WAR) http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-rotation.html Sorry if I missed anything.

Deja -- MVP voting has same issues as Cy Young
Because I play a 48 game season from April to July service time is lower - I have had a few players win Rookie of the Year twice. Am I missing the old setting I used to have of setting the amount of games for service time???? Can we get rain outs during games not being done correctly bug added to the list?

The Cy Young thing is an enhancement not a bug or a problem. I realize people are piling on now but it's getting ridiculous.
